The Third Wave Feminist Movement, blurs the difference in definition between the words: "sex" and "gender"...but why should we care?  Is there a difference between "sex" and "gender" or should the two words be used interchangeably?  These questions are left for open debate.  If you are a Biologist, you are likely to recognize that there exist innate differences between male and female.  On the other hand, if you are a Third Wave Feminist, you may even deny the concepts of Innate Femininity and Innate Masculinity.  What do I mean by Innate Femininity and Innate Masculinity?  Simply, there are innate qualities--biologically determined--which distinguish a male from a female.  Naturally, Innate Femininity, is
exclusive to females, where as Innate Masculinity is exclusive to males.

If you were to question me in regards to what defines the Innate Feminine and what defines the Innate Masculine, I would be incapable of giving you an Absolute Answer, simply because I am not a Biologist or a Geneticist or a Neuroscientist.  The hormonal differences that distinguish the Innate Feminine from the Innate Masculine, distinguish female from male.  However, our brains control much of hormonal regulation.  Therefore, the difference in "sex" is primarily rooted in neurological brain function, creating a
distinction between the female brain vs. the male brain.  Studies show the various academic strengths and weaknesses in males and females, bringing our attention to the innate differences between male and female--in regards to the brain.

It is of primary importance to keep a distinction between sex [which is innate] and gender [which is fluid] so that basic biological principles are not undermined.  Third Wave Feminism does undermine the foundation that sex is innate, by proposing that there are more than two regular sexes.  The two regular sexes include male and female.  Irregular sexes include individuals who were born with a genetic disorder.  In regards to healthy individuals, there exist two classes: those who are born with the Innate Feminine and those who are born with the Innate Masculine.  Sadly, interrex people, are often forced to choose a gender or the gender may be chosen for the interrex baby at birth.
