Documentary "Tocar y Luchar" to Premier at the Prestigious Montreal World Film Festival

The Montréal premier will mark the beginning of the film’s North American tour.

Explorart Films announced today that the North American premier of the memorable documentary "Tocar y Luchar" ("To Play and To Fight") will be held at the 30th annual meeting of the prestigious Montreal World Film Festival. The documentary was accepted as official selection to the “Documentaries of the World” section of the festival. The Montreal World Film festival will take place between August 24th to September 4th in Montreal, Canada. Tocar y Luchar is a powerful documentary about the Venezuelan Youth Orchestra Network, considered by many to be the most successful youth orchestra system in the world.

D’Jamin Bartlett in FringeNYC “Rapunzel” PDF Print E-mail

D'Jamin Bartlett, Broadway's original Petra in "A Little Night Music," will be appearing in the children's musical "Rapunzel" at the 2006 New York International Fringe Festival. Her daughter, Holley Bartlett, is one of the show's composers. Rapunzel” is based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale of the same name, but incorporates a twist: when the story comes to life in their living room, the two children to whom it is being told try to “fix” it. The score’s style ranges from Disneyesque ballads to ragtime.
