Since the beginning of religious history man has attempted to prove the existence of the human soul. That vehicle which allows God to interact with all that is humanly good in the body of man. Proving the soul as a fact has been ever elusive, however. Empirical science declares that there is no proof for the existence of such a soul. The possibilities of such spiritual questions have been relegated to philosophers, psychologists and religious leaders. Some gay spiritual teachers assert that, yes, there is a soul and that homosexuals themselves have a soul which is distinct from their heterosexual brothers. They also assert that this "Gay Soul" can offer elements of guidance and healing to our troubled world communities . Is there a soul unique to homosexuals? Or is this more intellectual pride and separatism? If there is any guidance and healing available from the gay community, then what is its source? These are some of the questions to address in search of the Gay Soul. |

Getting Crushed That Side of Midnight, Two Roads Taken One at A Time, Dimensions of A barrier, Two-Dream Tommy by Tom Sheehan And always it is this Gift-giver, this woman from the other side of midnight, this darkness that is not taken from. And she comes in pieces, trajectories, soft angles and planes, curves from a world galore I look for in this, her classroom of touch, taste, and sleek terrors wherein she says, Hello, Two-Dream Tommy, here are dimensions of a barrier, the two roads you must take one at a time if you’re meeting me and getting crushed that side of midnight. Oh, is she north of me or south, breathing yet or not, an image impossible to see, yet I would bet on her on either road I find. Lo, I speak out to her and dream of her, spraddled, urgent, these two parts of unspeakable darkness. Do they have to mean or what become? |

I recently shot a music video for local rap artist Theory. The shoot was for a concert scene. I had no idea what to wear, but I wanted to be cute like all the other chicks that appear in music videos. This wasn’t a drop it like it’s hot music video shoot (Theory is a female), but I felt the need to be sexy anyway even though I can’t even drop it like it’s warm. I just wanted to be cute on camera. I felt the pressure! |

The word masturbation comes from the Greek word mezea meaning penises, and a Latin verb masturbare that means to taint by hand or to agitate by hand. As we can see, it is a very "male" word but we all do it, only a few people will admit it to but studies show that 9 out of 10 people do it. So it may not be a public thing, but it is the "in" thing for a lot of people. |

Skirts, Heels, Books [by Sylvie Morgan Flatow] If she didn't look so sexy reading in skirts and heels, she'd probably stop and save it for the privacy of her own bedroom or the Brooklyn Heights Promenade late at night lit up only by the city's skyline. But really - she loved watching people watch her. |

Voting reaches an all-new low… [by Luvvenia Hawkins] The news stations are reporting that the overall voter turnout rate has reached an all-time low. Only a quarter (one-fourth) of registered voters actually bothered to show up at the polls to vote. They interviewed people of age, and the interviewees all had the right answers, “I was working; at school; forgot about it; don’t really vote unless it’s the primary…” Give me a break. We have become so politically correct, until we have begun to believe our own crap. |

Why I Killed My Muse -- And You Should Too [by Deanna Mascle] Article: Last night, in the dark following midnight I killed my muse (suffocating her quietly with a pillow) and buried her in my back garden. Today I will plant a roses to hide the grave. No one will ever know and I will be free at last of her insidious hold and I will be able to write what I want. |
