Written by Rachel Eagle Reiter
She was schooled in Feminism
Bus she didn't choose that ISM

She chose ME
For what it's worth
I've made it to earth

She earned her high degree
She had a right to live free
From the trials of maternity

Even though she was going through Chiro school
Even though I delayed her graduation
Even though I was an unplanned situation

Even though I was an expense
Even though I wasn't a convenience
Even though I was an unforeseen circumstance

She took a Chance...
A Chance on me
So I could BE

She earned her high degree
But she didn't value money
More than her maternity

She never compromised
My spiritual
Emotional
Or Physical
HEALTH

For her own slice of wealth

She didn't raise me
On white sugar
Or white bread
[Food for the Dead]

In her womb
I was a Vegan Baby
And my medicine
Was Homeopathy

I'm so glad she made me
I LOVE how she raised me
I know I'm extremely LUCKY
Luckier than I deserve to be

It was her freedom of Choice
To Grant me my Voice

She had the RIGHT
To live selfishly
But she chose ME

I'm HAPPY
