Eyes of Hope PDF Print E-mail
Written by Rachel Eagle Reiter: Bach Flower Therapist
The time that we need Hope the most is when we are in the depths of despair. It is easy to have hope when everything is going just the way we want it to, according to our plans. What about when circumstances are all "wrong" in our lives? Do we have Hope then? We should because that is when we need it the most.

There will be times of sorrow and despair. These our the times when nothing seems to be going right. Will we still remain hopeful then? We must. Along with Hope comes a great anticipation of the good events that will happen next in our lives. Hope allows us to use our imaginations, to envision unseen possibilities that have not come to pass...yet.

In our minds there exists the preconceived notion of what qualifies as a
"bad" event and what constitutes a "good" one. When times are good, be happy and celebrate. When times are bad, consider this: a time of sorrow will be followed by a time of great joy. The great scientist, Albert
Einstein realized that in the middle of every crisis, there is an
opportunity.

I beseech you not to have eyes of despair that only see the crisis, but miss the opportunity. Rather, have eyes of hope and a mind of vision, in order to anticipate great future events in this precious Time: Life.

When you wake up, where is your Hope? When you work, where is your Hope? When your yesterday comes to an end and your tomorrow is about to begin, where is your Hope? Look not to the left or to the right. Look not to the vast sky. Hope is IN YOU. Hope is IN ME. With eyes of Hope, we see.
